Heavy Duty Red [HD Red] is a powerful Sodium Hydroxide, water-based formulation designed for the safe and effective removal of heavy grease and soil deposits commonly encountered in plant machinery, workshops, and food preparation areas. This super concentrated solution is perfect for heavy-duty pressure washing.

Applications

HD Red is an industrial-strength degreaser suitable for removing heavy greases and oils from concrete and hard surfaces. It can also be used as a washer additive for enhanced degreasing and stain removal. Suitable for most hard surfaces that can tolerate a caustic-based cleaner, including machinery, floors, workshops, walls, and general cleaning tasks.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Environmental & Safety Information

HD Red RTU (diluted for ready to use) has low aquatic toxicity and does not persist in the environment. All surfactants used in this product are readily biodegradable. However, HD Red is corrosive; safety precautions should be taken when handling.

Directions for Use

The product can be used at different dilutions depending on the cleaning requirements:

• General Cleaning and Degreasing:
  • Medium Duty – Dilute 1:50 with water
  • Heavy Duty – Dilute 1:10 with water
• Pressure Cleaning:
  • Dilute up to 1:100 with water depending on requirement

Coverage

Coverage depends on dilution used:

• Neat: ~ 80-100 m²
• Dilution 1:6: ~ 450 m²
• Dilution 1:9: ~ 600 m²

• 20 Litre container

Precautions

HD Red is corrosive. Avoid skin and eye contact and inhalation of vapours. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is recommended. Exercise caution on painted surfaces and ensure to wash off promptly after use. Not recommended for use on aluminium or galvanised surfaces.
